Charlie Rose – Virunga Gorilla Killings
CharlieRose asked:
Mountain gorillas are an endangered species with some 700 alive. Nearly half of these animals live in Virunga National Park which borders Uganda, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The gorillas are caught in the middle of the Congo’s ongoing civil war between militia groups and the Congolese Army. This month’s National Geographic magazine, along with a companion documentary, uncovers the question: “Who murdered the mountain gorillas?” I spoke with three people who know firsthand …
that’s an understatement
thats fucked up. plain and simple.
Humans are the real predators, they won’t rest before they kill each animal on this sorry planet and destroy their habitat and wipe out forest and animals on the face of the earth.
That’s fucked up! It looks like they’re killing a person.
I don’t think its ****** nestorrfortuna. Wouldn’t matter what race was doing this, all are capable, and all would do the same given the situation at hand. Were the most out-of-balance species there is…and were going to pay for it if we don’t find one. Hopefully, were smart enough to get it right soon enough.
this sounds racist, but what do you expect to see in congo? the gorillas are far more civilized than the homo sapiens there.
poor gorillas having to live so close to those animals
thanks Charlie.. the killings are sadistic and really species genocide.
humans can be terrible sometimes.
How very very sad.
